FAQ
Do I need to be fit?
No. If you can walk for a few hours with breaks, you're fine. The hikes are 8-10km over relatively flat terrain. We move at a comfortable pace with plenty of stops. Everything is designed to challenge you gently, not break you.
I'm coming alone - will that be weird?
Not at all. Some people come solo, but everyone leaves as friends. We create the WhatsApp group from the moment you book so you can connect before arriving. Whether you're solo or with your best mates, by Sunday you'll feel part of something bigger than your original group.
What if the weather is terrible?
Even better! The worst weather makes the best adventures! Cold, crisp mornings are spectacular. Rain makes the sauna incredible. "Bad" weather often creates the best memories and the stories you'll tell for months. We'll give you weather-specific packing advice, but trust us - all our previous customers say they love the wind and the rain. Also, we will make sure you are coming back to warmth and cosiness each day.
I've never done wild swimming/paddleboarding before. Is that okay?
Completely fine. We provide all equipment, full instruction, and support. Most people haven't done these activities before - that's the point. Everything is optional, but we'd encourage you to try even if it seems daunting, as long as you are able to swim. The best moments come from doing things you weren't sure about.
What should I bring?
Warm layers, waterproof jacket and trousers, hiking boots (broken in!), swimwear, hat, gloves, toiletries, and packed lunches. We provide all activity equipment - paddleboards, lifejackets, yoga mats, sauna access etc. Full packing list will be sent after booking.
What about food? I have dietary requirements.
Breakfast and dinner are included (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch). You pack your own lunches - we'll guide you on what works. We handle all dietary requirements - vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies. Just tell us in the post-booking survey.
What's the accommodation like?
Luxury boho bell tents with proper beds (not air mattresses), cosy heating, and warm lighting. Think glamping with a ton of chic. Modern toilet and shower facilities on site. You'll be more than comfortable.
Who am I sharing with?
If you’re coming alone we'll pair you with another solo adventurer based on compatibility. If you are booking as a group you will share a tent with whoever you booked with. There is a maximum of two people per bell tent.
Is it safe?
All activities are supervised by trained, experienced guides. We're first aid qualified, properly insured, and maintain full safety standards. Realistically, we're doing gentle activities with proper equipment - the risk is low, but at the end of the day, it is an adventure!
What's the cancellation policy?
Unfortunately we cannot allow cancellation at this time as the group numbers are small so we can offer an intimate experience, but we need a minimum number of people to attend to make the events viable. We may revise our cancellation policy in the future when we know that we can always fill spaces.
Can I leave early or arrive late?
The weekend works as a complete experience. If you have unavoidable reasons for late arrival then please let us know asap and we will do everything we can to accommodate. But ideally, commit to the full weekend - that's when the magic happens.
How many people will be there?
There will be a maximum of 12 women, plus our guides. Small enough for genuine connections, big enough for good group energy.
What's the age range?
18+. We typically get a mix from mid-20s to mid-50s, but anyone over 18 is welcome.
